THE NORTH POLE PAPER WORKSHOP

Elf Adoption Certificate

Make a free, personalized elf adoption certificate with your own saved Christmas elf.

1 sheet · Color or low ink · Elf optional

Make it together

Family activity · adult help with printing

You’ll need: A4 or US Letter paper; pen; optional cardstock

  1. Create and save an elf, or choose the blank certificate.
  2. Choose the elf you are welcoming and open the printable.
  3. Add the adoption date and display the certificate with your elf.

Try this together

Start a December tradition by welcoming a new elf together. Use a nickname rather than a full name, and let each child decorate the border. Teachers can welcome one classroom elf for a group activity.

Good to know

Can I use it without an elf? Yes. The blank certificate can be completed by hand.

A note for grown-ups: Choose the matching paper size, print at 100%, and turn off browser headers and footers. Background graphics are optional. Use cardstock for sturdier tags, cards, and bookmarks; supervise cutting. Personal details can be written by hand and stay with your family.
